This camera is showing the Periferico freeway, at the intersection with Avenida de las Palmas. It's not in downtown; this is where Colonia Polanco and Palmas meet. The building where my parents live is in this picture.

this building corresponds to Monte Camerun #145. the reason i know this is becuase my abuelita lives there. it is just at the beginning of las lomas de chapultepec and the intersection of the main streets is palmas and manuel avila camacho(periferico. 3 blocks away is a very good taco place called la onda which is right behind the cathedral on palmas. i like this shot becuase i can keep an eye on my abuelita. There is insurgentes sur ave, on periferico hwy its no way to circulate the buses or taxis, if you see in the picture you will see a few green vehicles we call taxis or micro buses.

This is a view from Mc Donalds,Mexico City that is located near periferico highway that connects the city from north to south this was the first mc donalds in mexico if i am correct,this is a busy business and commercial area, with radio stations,restaurants,offices etc,its close to the jewish-mexican area called Polanco,and many other tourist atractions as museums,the zoo, chapultepec,etc...

I lived in Mexico City in 1985 and enjoyed the museums, parks and many other attractions. I lost touch with someone with the last name of Parra Flores whose family had a home with a stairway that led down to a lake somewhere near Las Lomas. This must have been a getaway during war times. Does anyone know anything about that area and those homes??

I want it to be quite but it has to be fun.
